Congratulations to Leipold for signing Parise and Suter!

How much did you pay them?  ... for how many years?

Not sure what you are mocking. They are the reason the Wild made the playoffs. Suter is possibly the best defenseman in the NHL>

I have not been a fan of Leipold since he dismantled an excellent team in Nashville, for his pocketbook.  Now he has committed big bucks for 2 star players, but it takes a lot more than 2 players to win a Stanley Cup.  He has a lot of work to do (more money to spend?) in order to win a cup.  We shall see if he has the commitment.

This year was a shot for them, but what about next year?  Cap decrease isn’t going to be easy on that team… 7.5m for 3 players and 6.75 for 1… that’s nearing 40-50% of their cap next season.  Compliance buyouts yes… going to be a team that really hopes for the cap increasing at a torrid pace.
