Are The Oilers Interested In Kolzig

from Spector of Fox Sports,
Expectations were high in Edmonton with GM Lowe's off-season additions of all-star defenseman Chris Pronger and two-way forward Mike Peca, but the Oilers are presently mired in a six-game losing skid, thanks to poor goaltending and a lack of offense. That led to rumors over the past week that Lowe was planning to shake things up. There's talk he contacted the Buffalo Sabres about either Martin Biron or Mika Noronen and the Washington Capitals about Olaf Kolzig. In addition to Lowe's supposed interest in Havlat, it's been rumored he might dump struggling tough-guy forward Georges Laraque and perhaps even make a pitch for New Jersey Devils center Viktor Kozlov.
