from the NHLPA,
Below is a list of all the salary arbitration cases that are pending during the 2010 off-season and the date that they are scheduled to take place. Please note that players have the ability to come to an agreement on a contract with their clubs prior to reaching the scheduled arbitration date.

Why do they have players like Carcillo and Richardson listed on there when they have already re-signed?

Claude, from the story… red text signifies the players that have reached a settlement prior to their scheduled arbitration hearing

I believe all the ones in red have re-signed. Meech, Boll, Carcillo, Richardson and Kaleta have all signed, so I’m guessing they’re ones who have signed since the list was perpared.

The players with salary cap ramifications could be particularly interesting to keep an eye on—Raymond (and Hansen) with the Canucks, Wheeler with the Bruins, and Niemi with the Blackhawks. I would assume that some trades may finally start to fall into place once the decisions are made. The Canucks may be $3.5 million over the cap after the two awards.
