Another Columbus Loss

11/28/2013 at 11:07am EST

from Shawn Mitchell of Puck-Rakers,

The Jackets got skunked 4-0 by the Nashville Predators in front of a dispirited crowd of 11,893 in the Nationwide Arena tonight. The loss was preceded by a 6-0 victory in Toronto, which was preceded by a 6-2 loss in Vancouver, which was preceded by a 2-1 overtime victory in Calgary, which was preceded by a 7-0 loss in Edmonton, which was preceded by a 4-1 victory in Ottawa.

This latest loss, against Darth Vader, might be pegged to coming home, defenseman James Wisniewski said....

The Jackets are banged up, and they are young, and their inexperience is glaring right now. They are wildly inconsistent.

“It could be some of it is leadership,” or the lack of it, coach Todd Richards said.

“Youth, I think” he said. “Tough road trip. A lot of things go into it. It’s hard to put a finger on just one thing, and say ‘this is the reason why we’re inconsistent.”
