All Of A Sudden, The Ducks Hit With Injuries

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Frederik Andersen and defenseman Nolan Yonkman from the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

In addition to the roster moves below, the Ducks have placed defenseman Luca Sbisa and goaltender Viktor Fasth on injured reserve. Sbisa suffered a tendon tear in his right hand last night vs. Tampa Bay and will have surgery Monday. He is out 6-8 weeks. Fasth is suffering from muscle inflammation (lower body) and is out 3-4 weeks.
