All Indications Say Gerard Gallant Will Be The Next Head Coach Of The Florida Panthers

Doug MacLean, who has known Gallant since the age of eight, also believes the above.  MacLean mentioned this on Sportsnet radio today.

Gallant will always be my 2nd favourite Wing of all time!
Loved his grit and scoring touch. And I loved that, despite being 5’9”, he’d go anyone that looked at Yzerman sideways.

Also had the pleasure of meeting him at a gala. He was extremely courteous and friendly. Class act.

If confirmed, there’s Yzerman in TBL as GM and Gallant in FLA as HC.  It’s like the Wings are playing against their own.

Oh yeah, Paul MacLean in OTT as well.  Might as well rename the Atlantic Division as the Wings Alumni Division or some shit like that.
