Alfredsson Skating This Morning

Numerous reports state Daniel Alfredsoon is at practice this morning and looks fine, but…

from Pat Leondard of the NY Daily News,

Monday morning on a WFAN radio interview, NHL VP of player safety Brendan Shanahan revealed Senators forward Daniel Alfredsson suffered a concussion on the elbow from Carl Hagelin in Game 2 at the Garden on Saturday night.

added 11:00am, Alfredsson confirms he did suffer a concussion and will be a game time decision tonight.

For some reason, I thought you had to sit out a certain length of time before returning, but maybe I am wrong.

He’s skating?  So the NHL is going to rescind the Hagelin suspension, right?

Completely disgusted by Shanahan’s comments in that interview.

So after completely refusing/failing to control the games, he’s essentially endorsing vigilante justice, as long as you punch the player less then 5 times, or he starts fighting back.

The NHL will be lucky to make it through these playoffs without another Steve Moore.

Senators Dr. Mark Aubry has a great reputation. As much as Sens fans hope Alfie is okay and able to play, I’m sure he does only if he’s medically cleared.
