Alexandre Bolduc Fined For Slew-Foot

NEW YORK (March 25, 2012)—Phoenix Coyotes forward Alexandre Bolduc has been fined $2,500, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slew-footing San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe during NHL Game #1126 in San Jose on Saturday, March 24, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 6:41 of the second period. A minor penalty for hooking was assessed on the play.
The fine money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
