Not only did the Detroit Red Wings visit with UFA defenseman Ryan Suter today, so did the Minnesota Wild.
The Malik Report has been on this story for about the last 4 hours and has all the details.
For his sake, I hope the travel is complete.

Since Holland has gone “outside the comfort zone” with Tootoo, maybe make an offer to Weber. He’s an RFA, but what the heck.

I hope Weber gets traded at the deadline and extended. Suter being the less sexy of the two; I shudder to think of the circus Weber will command.
