“For them to judge what knocks you down, they don’t know your balance or what not on the play.  They’re sitting at home watching on TV. I don’t really care what they say. They have no impact on my game, my life. They mean nothing.”

-Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins on his reputation of being a “diver”.  More on Boston/Washington from Katie Carrera of Capitals Insider.

They might not know your balance, but they sure know when a dirty rat is only trying to draw a penalty!

Boy, Marchand and Kesler must have the worst balance in the league.
He should have that looked at.
Perhaps it’s the nose that’s tipping him over?

If he truly didn’t care what people thought he wouldn’t keep saying he doesn’t care what people think.

I remember with a couple games left in the regular season there was a ref that got hit with a high stick behind the net. I think he left and needed a bunch of repairs. But what stuck out and what I showed a bunch of my friends is that at no point when the ref got hit, did his feet fall out from under him or his hands and arms go wildly up in the air like a lot of the players do. It just shows you that when you have nothing to gain from getting a high stick you don’t fall like you’ve been shot. I’ve always wondered why when a player got hit in the face did his feet automaticly buckle. It’s a joke what some of the players do.
