If Dale Hunter got benched every time he took a stupid penalty, Dale Hunter never would have been playing.

Kinda’ surprised to see HAMRLIK of all people being this frank.  If he is, then yes, Hunter probably never had the respect of the players to begin with, and certainly doesn’t have it now.

Show of hands of everyone who saw Dale Hunter’s coaching tenure as laughable on level with Gretzky’s?

One, two, three… seventy, seventy-one… oh nevermind.  It’s too many to count.
