“This season has been hard. I feel like the past two or three years, the amount of scoring chances that we generate with nothing to show for it is at a three-year high, I would say. That could weight in a lot on your mind and make you think about things. You just have to be honest with your game and your assessment of your game. I feel we deserve better as a team.”
-Martin St. Louis of the Tampa Bay Lightning. More on the Lightning from Damian Cristodero of Lightning Strikes.

But this team definitely doesn’t look like the team that made it to the conference finals and about the only persont hey lost was Bergenheim.

They’ve been missing d-men out with injuries & such for one, and I think they’re just a mess. They don’t seem to play like much of a team, which is why on many nights it doesn’t matter if Garon or Roloson is in net.
They also don’t seem to skate very hard or anything. Maybe they bought into their own hype a bit too quick?

yeah, I’m not understanding what’s up with the Lightning, maybe they haven’t been paying homage to Jobu, I dunno. But this team definitely doesn’t look like the team that made it to the conference finals and about the only persont hey lost was Bergenheim. Rolly’s had a hard go of it too but I haven’t watched enough of their hockey to tell if it’s the team in front of him or not.
