“I am disappointed with the year.  I’m disappointed with the way it ended up, I’m disappointed with our performance on the ice, I am disappointed with some of our players, I’m disappointed with our record in the last six weeks.

“People who know me know that I am really upset and did not expect to be sitting here today talking about our team with the 10th pick in the draft.

“That is just not an acceptable position.”

-Craig Leipold, Owner of the Minnesota Wild.  More from Bruce Brothers of the Pioneer Press.

Well, I’m disappointed that this jerk Leipold gets to club hop from franchise to franchise.

You know, Craig, if every team you owns sucks… maybe it’s time to start blaming oneself, hmm?

Then again, I’m sure you’ll have another 3 or 4 more franchises to work out the kinks in your master-plan.

once he learns how to start spending to the cap, maybe his team will be a little more competitive?  He switched over to minny, b/c the fan base there will fill up all the seats regardless if he is icing a cap max team or a cap min team.  He just wants to sit there and rake in the dough, yet complains as to why they are not competitive when he cheaps out

Karma is a bitch.
Leipold deserves every loss he gets after dismantling the Predators for money.

Really, though, his whining is just a smokescreen.  Truthfully, he goes back in his dark little office and ejaculates over the money he is making in Minny while spending the minimum on his team.
