I believe if they (Toronto) can (get) Luongo, that will make it far easier to lure prospective free agents to Toronto. This would be my master plan if I were Dave Nonis: Trade for Luongo now, get my salary-cap in order and then make a big big pitch to land both Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf next summer.
