Darryl Sutter, on why so much attention is paid to the trading deadline:
Don’t ask me. Ask them. You guys pay the same dues. I don’t. [Reporter: It just comes on Direct TV. I can’t get rid of the damn thing.] Oh, I know. All summer, you go back to Canada, all these experts, they talk about – because it’s easy to get the math and figure it out. Just do it. Just add four million plus five million, a hundred and sixty thousand. Just add it up. So a lot of teams aren’t doing anything. So now all of these teams are doing something? So what happened? Did they just change the rules? [Reporter: Brian Burke always said that the two times out of the year you get your fans the most interested in your team are the trading deadline and the first day of free agency.] I guess if you’re a bad team....
