The Central Division should be a cakewalk. The Pacific Division has one weak team in the Calgary Flames, but the rest are all on the nasty side, particularly the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and the Vancouver Canucks.

Even though it’s a month before the start of training camp, the Blackhawks can already start printing playoff tickets.

They are in and will almost certainly win their division.

A repeat Stanley Cup performance will be difficult, but the Blackhawks have the best chance of any team in the last 15 years.

Life should get a lot easier for the Blackhawks this year as the NHL has realigned to appease the Red Wings...

Right. Because Lil’ Gary’s number one desire in life has always been to “appease” the Wings. Apparently this douchebag, Silverman, doesn’t understand a simple concept like geography.

But if the end result is to make the Hawks path to next year’s playoff’s easier, well, I’m just super happy for him. I’m sure it’ll reduce his stress level knowing that his beloved Hawks won’t have to face a much stronger team of Wings players than the ones who nearly derailed his little cluckers last spring.

Let’s see how he feels at the end of May when they’re facing a completely different Wings team in the SCF.
