Now I really want the Bruins to win.

You haven’t accomplished sh** yet, Kadri, other than being told you were at an unacceptable fat level by Dallas Eakins this past fall.

When did he say he’s accomplished anything?

Where did I say he did?

Young player, first playoff game…you don’t spout off to the media and give the team you’re playing ammunition. You say the right things to the media: “they are a great team, we have to play our best…etc, etc, etc”

You don’t think a veteran team like Boston doesn’t have rookie Kadri’s comment posted in the lockeroom?

Kadri can tell his colleagues all he wants, but the media? And the use of the phrase” very, very winnable”?

Come on, Garth, I know you live to argue and fight, but his comments were not helpful. Why didn’t Kessel or Phaenuf say something similar?  Because you want your opponent to be over-confident.

Kadri is a punk. He thinks that since he has Cherry in his corner he is a superstar! Wrong! Hope the B’s smoke them.

I’m OK with it as long as he backs it up.  Problem is, he doesn’t know what a winnable series looks like from a players perspective, he’s got no idea, up close how much faster, tighter and tougher it gets.  So he’s’ gambling he’ll be able to adapt.  Some people thrive once they’ve painted themselves into a corner like Kadri did.

Now we’ll see what he’s got, but he put his pride on the line now.  Personal, not team.

What’s all the fervor about?  He didn’t say ANYTHING.  This isn’t even close to bulletin board material.  It certainly wasn’t a guarantee.  All he said was that the series was winnable.  That’s nothing.  Nothing at all.

Have to disagree Shane, I think it’s semantics.  When I tell someone I can beat them, easily, I’m telling them I’m better than them, significantly.

... and coming from someone who’s never played in a single SCPlayoff game?  Against a team who still has plenty of players with a recent Stanley cup on their resume?  That’s bulletin board material all day.

I garauntee he gets a “welcome to the playoffs, kid” moment that first game.

Again, I ask: why we don’t see veterans saying such things?
