Uh… he isn’t going to get rid of all the Sabres grit… he just doesn’t want staged pointless fights. He has been saying this since he was hired, people keep asking him this same question. Many times he has said he has no problem with fights, they just need to be for a reason. If anything I think that attitude adds grit, not subtracts it.

When you finally make the playoffs and a player like Lucic cup checks
one of your players what will happen? Will they fold like a lawn chair because they were
scared like the Wings?
