Banishing Bowen and Ralph from the road and having them broadcast away games from a Toronto studio is incredibly bush-league considering how much the travel for these two broadcasters costs in the big scheme of things and how much the Leafs are worth — not to mention how storied this franchise is and how much money this team pulls in every year.

This move basically sends a message to the team’s millions of fans that this franchise isn’t all that special anymore.
