Afternoon Line- Pierre LeBrun On P.K. Subban

Hearing that volume of calls has increased significantly for the Habs from other teams re: P.K. Subban in last 48 hours. What that means?

Canadiens are not shopping Subban but other teams are indeed calling and more frequently as July 1 no-movement clause approaches...

Is there really a deal that would make Marc Bergevin blink? Pretty hard to replace a player like Subban. But some teams desperate for top D

Again, not suggesting the Habs will trade Subban. Just relaying that teams are calling more frequently now that July 1 no-move is closer

A guy that seems to have to be the center of attention that I think is over paid for what he brings with a NMC. I wouldn’t make that trade or give up that cap space for him.

A guy just coming into his prime, who puts up tons of assists.  Well, heck.  $8 mil wouldn’t be too bad at all if he can mature up a bit.
