If this offseason isn’t merely going to represent a cut-and-paste job, the question for management is whether Nash, the Rangers’ leading goal-scorer in all three of his years on Broadway and eighth in the NHL since 2012-13, has greater value to the team on the ice or as a space-opening trade chip.
