Sometimes, a change of scenery is exactly what a player needs, especially if he’s grown stale in an organization that’s also lost patience with him. We’re seeing that more and more in the NHL these days – GMs willing to make what appear to be lateral trades, hoping that a change in scenery breathes new life and energy into a player.
