“Well, we don’t make things up. The last thing in the world I’ve ever done in my 40 years of the business is clickbaiting. In fact, I usually get accused of the opposite – that I don’t take enough stance, that I don’t give enough outrageous opinions or make declarations of this or that. So I do get offended when somebody would suggest that I would make something up to try and increase ratings for TSN. I don’t care about the ratings on TSN. They happen to be whatever they are, and I’ve always felt that.

“So it’s just that. I suggested anybody who thinks we would make things up to draw attention to ourselves doesn’t know us very well and isn’t very smart.”
