Arnason has also gone from being a somewhat anonymous athlete in a city that embraces the Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Bulls to a city where the NHL will always be king. There's no place to hide in Ottawa, especially since Senators coach Bryan Murray placed Arnason on a line with captain Daniel Alfredsson and Bryan Smolinski. He has also left an organization that repeatedly questioned his commitment to hard work and defensive play to a squad that has given him a clean slate, a second chance to make a first impression.
