Kukla's Korner Hockey

A Different Type Of Recap

Wonder how Ottawa’s Anton Volchenkov slept last night. It was his horrible giveaway in the Senators zone that led to Chris Drury scoring the winning goal for the Sabres. File this one under Dumb and Dumber. With his team trailing 1-0 on an early goal, defenseman Zdeno Chara took a dumb penalty bumping a Sabre well after the whistle sounds to stop play. Fortunately for him, Buffalo’s Maxim Afinogenov took his dumb-dumb pill before the game and was sent off at the same time after knocking Chara down in retaliation.
