How well can they do in the postseason? The West in loaded, but all Calgary’s pieces seem to be there.
“Yeah, we’ve got a shot at doing something special,” Iginla said. “I think every guy believes that. That makes it easier to buy in, if some guy isn’t playing as much as he likes, or is playing a different role than he’s used to—when we’re all thinking we have a shot at doing something good, something special, not just good.’‘
Whether the Flames are good enough to compete with the other Western powers come playoff time, of course, remains the burning question in Cowtown.
