A Six Point Night For Johnny Gaudreau

On a night that everything seemed to go his way, this could have been Johnny Gaudreau’s biggest challenge.

The Calgary Flames superstar winger had just busted out of his scoring slump in a massive way, notching a hat-trick — including the game-winner on a penalty-shot — and a trio of assists to power Tuesday’s hosts to a 9-4 victory over the injury-depleted New Jersey Devils at the Saddledome.

Now, in a jubilant locker-room, a team staffer handed Gaudreau a half-dozen pucks for a photo opp.

Gaudreau fumbled for a moment with all that evidence but eventually managed to squeeze all six, a juggling act not many guys will ever have to worry about.
