•With the Memorial Weekend right around the corner and only two teams left to fight for the Stanley Cup, many of you will probably not be visiting KK on a regular basis.
The whole crew appreciates your patronage throughout the year and we look forward to seeing your from time to time during the next three months or so.
We will posting on a regular basis, so make sure to keep us in mind.
•The two, open KK Challenge winners will be announced in the next 24 hours and another Challenge will be announced soon for the SCF.
•KK will be going through a transformation during the summer months which will enhance your visits. Look for those to begin in early to mid-July and be completed by the end of July.
I won’t let the cat out of the bag, but will say it is something that we are all excited about.
•Please remember, KK survives because of you- Using the affiliate and ad links you see helps us out and allows us to improve KK. If you have a need for the service or products offered, please feel free to use them.

A family matter takes me away from the computer for a few hours this morning.
If Alanah or The Sailor have some time, they will update, if not, I should be back in 2 hours.

KK- Take A Look Around

In case you are “new” to KK, don’t forget to take a look around the whole KK Site.
Abel to Yzerman gives you all the Wings/Ducks coverage you want, while Canucks & Beyond is coming out of a depression state and will soon be pointing out hockey topics I would not even think of.
Also, don’t foget about the latest KK Challenge.

Hockey Links Updated

I’ve updated the World Wide Web of Hockey page today. Lots of new sites added, and the page now features almost 350 unique hockey destinations on the internet. Thanks to everyone for helping make this page such a great resource.
Note: I’ve rejected very few submissions so far, only sites that don’t clearly have significant hockey content. If you have submitted a site that suits this requirement yet wasn’t posted, odds are that I just lost track. My apologies, and please send it again.

Who Deserves the Cup? Contest Winners!
by Alanah McGinley on 04/27/07 at 04:30 PM ET

Last month’s KK Challenge to write the best argument about why your team deserves to win the Stanley Cup, produced hundreds of great entries. Fans were clearly well-motivated by the prospect of a new NHL team jersey of their choice!
Contest entries were all judged by the crack writers at NHL.com, and we’d like to give them a big ‘thank you’ for helping out.
The surprise of the contest was that there was a tie, so TWO winners will be picking up new jerseys! One fan for the Vancouver Canucks and one fan for the Buffalo Sabres. Both will be contacted by email this week to make arrangements to get them the jersey of their choice.
Now, please read their contributions. And our thanks to everyone who shared their team spirit.

Many of you know I have an ongoing family issue that needs 100% attention at times.
This may be an ongoing issue for some time, but really not sure what the future holds.
Anyways, I am back for the rest of the day and appreciate your understanding.

Out of the Office

As might already be obvious by now, Paul will be unavailable today for family reasons, so you’re stuck with me yet again. I promise not to rant and cry about the Vancouver Canucks bad fortunes all day (F#$@*&!!!) nor make fun of Kukla’s beloved Red Wings.
Well, I’ll do my best on that last one… maybe we shouldn’t expect miracles.
Regular NHL updates will continue throughout the day. Thanks for your tolerance.

Regular visitors will recall that last week, Paul Kukla was unavailable for two days because of a family medical emergency. Unfortunately that situation remains difficult right now, and he again won’t be available, for the rest of today at least.
Alas, you’re stuck with me again. Any questions or concerns you may have today can be addressed to: am@kuklaskorner.com
Thanks for your patience.
