KK- I Am Leaving

Easter Sunday I will be in Augusta, Georgia for the final round of The Masters!!!
A lifelong dream of mine, I will be walking the same course that so many golfing greats have battled throughout the years.
What a birthday gift- We jet in on Sunday morning, stay for the final round and then jet back home Sunday evening.
All access passes and so looking forward to a little break!
In my absence, the rest of the Krew (will open wmp video) will be handling the Sunday update!

I do hope those of you who celebrate the Easter Season, have a safe and peaceful day with family and friends.

KK- Detroit Vs. Toronto

Well, my Opening Day ritual continues.  I will be attending the Tigers/Blue Jays game today so updates may be a little less than normal.
One more thing- We think the NHL schedule is bad, but the Tigers will not see the Blue Jays again after April 15th.  One of the great things about playing Toronto was taking the train from Windsor to Toronto for a nice summer weekend of Tigers/Blue Jays.
Now it looks like a train ride to Chicago this summer instead of TO.

KK- Stats For March 2007

Another great month and thanks to all who continue to visit on a very regular basis.
Previous history tells me we will see a drop in the numbers in the coming months. As teams drop out of the playoffs, fans do lose a little bit of interest.

More Hockey Than You Can Handle

The new World Wide Web of Hockey page we introduced a few weeks ago has been expanding daily with the many submissions we’ve received.  In addition to daily updates, we’ve added one major new section: “World Hockey” links, with sites in English and various other languages. I expect many of you will find it entertaining and useful.

While many readers have my gratitude for all the new submissions, I’d especially like to thank two people.  First is Chris in Manchester, England, who provided us with a ton of great UK sites.  Second is Drazen in Croatia, who was kind enough to suggest a great page, plus tell us a bit about what it’s like to be a hockey fan in Croatia.  Amazing.

Thanks everyone!

The World Wide Web of Hockey

Last week in Paul’s NHL.com post, he called out to readers to let us know your favorite hockey sites, blogs and media people. The result was fantastic and we received hundreds of suggested sites, many of which we’d never seen before.

Going through most of them carefully, and also keeping in mind the the many great sites and writers we already knew, we’ve built a mega-page of hockey resources to find almost anything you can think of.  It’s a work in progress but a great start, and we hope you’ll continue to send in suggestions to make it even better.

The page is divided into 6 sections at this time, and categorized as best I could manage.  The sections are: Hockey Media, Hockey Blogs, Hockey Podcasts, Hockey Leagues, NHL Team Sites and More Hockey.

Enjoy!

Note:  Links that were on the left sidebar of KK Hockey have all been moved to the new page. If your favorite site seems to have gone missing, let us know. It was a ton of information to categorize and organize, and I have no doubt I accidentally lost a few sites in the process.
