Kukla's Korner Hockey
I am happy to announce the KK Donation Drive at GoFundMe has reached 30% of the 10K goal.
Every donation will go right back into KK to help make some much needed improvements.
As I have said before, this is my only job and I put in over 80 hours a week doing this and will continue to do so for the years ahead.
Again, thanks to all of you who have donated and also to those who plan to do so in the future.
Thanks to all the 53 people who have pushed the KK GoFundMe Donation Drive to over $2000.
Any amount helps drive the total up and I am very moved by the donations received at this point in time.
As I have said, the $10K goal is very lofty but I truly believe in can be reached over time.
Thanks again to all.
The KK Donation Drive at GoFundMe reached 10% of my goal a few minutes ago and a big thanks to all of those who have made a donation.
I am driven to reach the $10K goal and hope all of the people who use KK on a regular basis will consider making a donation.
I have some goals I want to meet and while advertising income does help, it is by no means a get rich process.
How about those folks who follow KK on Twitter, imagine if only a small amount of the 24,900+ followers made even a smaill donation, we would be well on the way to reaching the goal.
I usually do a semi-annual post on the ways to help out KK but this time it is a little different.
I have started a GoFundMe page which allows you to donate and improve KK.
Just wanted to thank everyone for visiting KK for all the trade deadlines deals and news.
I also wanted to thank George for his hard work at The Malik Report and for helping me out too.
It will be a very relaxed night for both of us but we will return at full speed tomorrow.
Again thanks and enjoy the three NHL games tonight.
Wow, time has flown by.
Eleven years and four days ago I started blogging about the NHL lockout during that time.
The reason, we were not getting many updates here in Detroit regarding the NHL lockout and I needed more information.
So I started reading and listening to the Canadian sports pages and radio stations. Remember, no social media at that point, it was a lot of leg work and in a way I miss it.
From that day to today, my heart remains in it and I hope to move forward for many years to come.
added 4:48pm, Ooops, I can't count, ten years ago, not eleven like the original headline stated.
May 2015 bring you good health and good times.
No matter how it looks..
French- Joyeux Noël
Polish- Wesołych Świąt
Armenian- Շնորհավոր Սուրբ Ծնունդ: Shnorhavor Surb Tsnund
It all comes out the same.
Have A Merry Christmas and remember the reason for this joyous holiday.
Stay safe, enjoy your time with family and friends and not a bad day for a random act of kindness.
With Christmas quickly approaching, I thought I would lay out my plans for the week.
I am now in relaxed mode through Christmas night but will be posting on a regular basis through the morning of December 24th, then get back at it on December 26th.
We are going to bypass the weekly BoltDraft/KK fantasy game this week but will have two games you can participate in next week. Of course, you can still participate in the numerous games BoltDraft offers.
If you are still doing your holiday shopping, do remember to use the KK affiliate link to Amazon (gift cards too) and I appreciate all of you who have used the link during the holidays and for using it all year long too. I have also added some Amazon banner ads to the far right sidebar on every KK page.
If you are getting a head start on the Holiday, please be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends.
The eight day Festival of Lights begins at sundown tonight.
