It is once again the time for the semi-annual KK Donation Drive.
Any donation is appreciated plus anything above a $25 donation, you as a KK member will have the vast majority of ads removed for you browsing pleasure for one year. If you have donated in the past and have no-ads status and wish to donate again, a $20 donation will add another year to that status when your first donation reaches its original expiration date.
In order to participate in the no ads donation, you must be a KK member (register here).
Then, just click on the PayPal button below (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted) and any donation over $25 will enroll you in the mostly ad-free version of KK.
Also, thanks to all of you who use the KK Amazon link to purchase items through Amazon. It is much appreciated and I encourage you to bookmark this Amazon link and use it when making purchases.
With only three NHL games on the schedule tonight, this may be a good time to actually go out for a bite to eat, come back home and settle in to actually watch some hockey.
If anything major happens tonight I will post, if not, time to recharge and get back at it in the morning.
Done for the night unless some big news comes about.
I've been fighting lack of sleep every since Sochi and plan on starting to get some of it back as soon as I hit submit.
Thanks to all of you for your continued support, especially those of you who have been around for years.
I also want to thank George Malik for his help today plus his work in The Malik Report on a moments notice.
We will be back at it tomorrow but in the meantime, enloy the games tonight.
My aunt passed away and the viewing is today and the funeral is tomorrow.
So I will be posting when I can but Monica and/or George will be around with any needed updates.
Thing should return back to normal around 3:00pm ET tomorrow.
Starting yesterday afternoon an issue popped-up on a personal level that needs some attention.
Posting may be sporadic for the next 48 but I will try to deliver whenever possible.
Just wanted to let you know where things stand right now.
I just wanted to drop in and thank all of you who have used the KK Amazon affiliate link to do their shopping.
Purchases have increased on a steady basis over the last 6 months and it is really appreciated.
Also as a reminder, any KK member (register here, it takes about 20 seconds) can have the majority of ads removed for their browsing pleasure.
It has been a long three days for me and I am going to celebrate the New Year by kicking back and relaxing the rest of the night.
See you bright and early tomorrow, like 6:00am ET early.
That's when the WJC quarterfinal game between Team USA and Team Russia starts and I will embed the live stream at that time.
Get some rest, 10 games on the NHL schedule too along with 3 other WJC games.
Or Chris Kreider Taylor Pyatt!
Hope you have broken the code by now.
Let's star the New Year right by wishing all of you a prosperous and successful 2014.
Right now it is 15 degrees in the metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area with the high reaching somewhere around 20. Snowfall predicted for today is between 2-5 inches.
With that, we have an outdoor game to play today and it should be an ideal setting for the NBC/CBC broadcast.
Get your hot chocolate ready and sit back and enjoy what our great game has to offer.
Sorry for the late start today but woke up with one of those sore throats that cause you to cringe every time you try to swallow.
Trying some home remedies but so far, nothing is working.
