A Look at the 1/3 Point of the NHL season with Millian of BluLine Hockey Talk Radio

Millian, the host of terrific hockey podcast “The BlueLine: Hockey Talk Radio”, was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to give us his thoughts on the NHL season.

PH: So, we are just past the 1/3 point of the NHL season. What are some of your general thoughts?
MB: The scoring situation in the league has been an interesting one. While they have historically tried to get scoring up, this season has presented a noticeable effect. In many cases we are seeing routs alot more frequently. However, at the same time we are seeing shutouts more frequently. I am noticing that goal scoring is feast or famine. I am not sure where we are at in terms of last year’s pace, but this is something of interest that I have found. Outside of that, the hockey has been great, and I think the playoffs are going to be sweet.
