After worrying about newly acquired New York Rangers' forward Rick Nash being seriously injured, Larry Brooks of the New York Post tells us that the injury is not serious and that it is just a day-to-day thing.

The last thing the Blueshirts need was to have the NHL return from lockout and have Nash be on the sidelines due to an injury he suffered overseas.

Since I wasn’t around much this weekend, I wanted to get your thoughts on the retirement of New York Rangers’ forward Markus Naslund.

This was first reported by Larry Brooks of the NY Post. Naslund’s time on Broadway wasn’t the greatest as he looked every bit his 35 years of age. As Brooks reports, Naslund was due $4 million in salary next season.

Who do you folks think would be a good replacement for Naslund?

Some Gloomy Rangers Reading

With a tough game against the Boston Bruins slated for tomorrow afternoon, the New York Rangers are in an extremely difficult position.

If the Florida Panthers beat the Atlanta Thrashers tonight, they will be tied for the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference and should the Rangers lose tomorrow afternoon and the Panthers win again on Sunday evening against the Pittsburgh Penguins, they’ll be in ninth place heading into the final week of the regular season.
