Rangers Hockey Is Back

Tonight, the New York Rangers face-off against the New Jersey Devils in their first pre-season game of the 2010-11 season at Madison Square Garden.

This will be a good time for fans to see potential line combinations, young prospects and get a feel for the game of hockey once again since it’s been gone since April.

According to Jim Cerny’s Twitter yesterday, the lineup will be the following:

@PuckCentral Forwards: Gaborik, Frolov, Christensen, Stepan, Prust, Boyle, Boogaard, Zuccarello, Weise, Kennedy, Dubinsky, Fedotenko

@PuckCentral Biron and Johnson in goal; Staal, Girardi, Rozsival, McDonagh, Semenov, Sauer on defense…

The fans will hopefully get to see a line of Marian Gaborik, Alexander Frolov and Derek Stepan while also getting to see prospects Ryan McDonagh and Mats Zuccarello and goaltender Martin Biron for the first time in Ranger blue.

Enjoy the game tonight folks!

Outstanding, the Gaborik/Frolov combo is extremely intriguing.

I just got tickets to my frist Ranger game at MSG, Sunday the 7th against the Blues.  Sitting in the 340’s, up in one of the corners.

Any suggestions for pre-game places to check out would be greatly appreciated.
