As I’m sure all of you New York Ranger fans are aware, forward Markus Naslund officially announced his retirement from the NHL yesterday.
While he wasn’t a bad Ranger (Over 20 goals for the 10th consecutive season), he had certainly slowed a bit and the team needed something like this to happen in order to clear some cap room.
