It certainly sounds like there is some potential that Rick Nash could be coming to the New York Rangers in some kind of trade, at least according to Darren Dreger of TSN:

Will be multiple players involved in Nash trade to NYR. Contracts are being reviewed, etc. All to be done before trade call.Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Rick Nash trade to New York Rangers in process now. Details to follow.

Scott Howson should be fired, held out that long for a joke of a return. Rangers countered the Flyers attempt to get Weber ![]()

Dubinsky’s wikipedia page already shows him playing for CBJ.
So you know… it must be true. Lol

If Howsen turned down the rumored deal of Franzen / Filipula / Nyquist for that scrape pile of players then he must be fired ASAP. Even if it’s to the *#$%@& Wings it’s a hell of allot more than a one time 20 goal scorer and a unproven 3rd liner.

Where was this Franzen/Filppula/Nyquist rumored deal? That seems like an insanely high offer, honestly.

If this is what Howson accepted, I could see an offer of Franzen, Emmerton and Mursak being comparable. But is Dubinsky better than Franzen?...
Either way, none of it fuching matters now.
Next move for Howson: Offer Semin a 10 year contract ![]()

Yeah correct that .. the article I read just said the Wings “made one helluva deal” so I figured it revolved around Franzen(inconsistent) + Filipula(contract year). Howsen said he wanted 2 NHL ready forwards so they came to mind lol. Article I read.
