A few weeks ago, our fearless leader sent me an e-mail regarding a great auction that Ice Hockey in Harlem is doing on Friday, February 3rd.
Because this is for a great cause and because it is hockey-related, I figured I would share the details with you folks:
IHIH’s Winter Sports Auction brings together friends, members of the New York Rangers and Rangers alumni for an evening of fun and auction shopping in support of our kids. Since 1987, Ice Hockey In Harlem has enriched the lives of thousands of boys and girls from the Harlem community. It is anticipated that we will serve 200+ boys and girls from Harlem in the coming year. The auction raises much needed funding for our programs so that we can ensure every student has a meaningful experience.
The Auction will take place at Planet Hollywood in New York City in Times Square at the NE corner of 45th Street and Broadway. There will be an open bar, a buffet, and great raffle prizes.
This is a great organization so please consider checking into the auction. It will be well worth it and you will be doing the Ice Hockey in Harlem organization a great service by participating.

Well meaning but a waste of time. They sell the equipment they get for free. Many times for as little as a dollar. They have no interest in hockey. Just give the money to a hospital or cancer research. This is like pushing a religious belief on people LOL.
