For All You Red Wings Fans Out There…

As I am sure all of you are aware by now, most of my musings on Kukla’s Korner are on the New York Rangers.
With that said, however, I am a hockey fan first and believe that I have a lot of knowledge on all 30 clubs in the National Hockey League. Over at RLD Hockey yesterday, I wrote about why I think the Red Wings could win the Stanley Cup this season:
When looking at Stanley Cup winners, it is easy to see that the teams have three key ingredients: skill, depth and experience.
While there are several clubs that fit the bill, there is really only one team that can say that they have had those ingredients for almost well over a decade: the Detroit Red Wings.
When the Wings won Stanley Cups back in 1997, 1998, 2002, and 2008, they used the aforementioned assets to get the job done. It was never a secret as to why they won the Cup those years because everyone in the game knew that the Wings had what it took to win.
Click here for more on why I think the Wings have a good chance to win the Cup in 2011.

While I usually never comment, don’t think your posts go unnoticed. I try to read as many posts by each blogger on KK as I can in an attempt to learn about other teams as in depth as the Wings. Or something like that. As far as this post goes….heh, nice job.

nailed it on the head Patty, thanks for the write-up. Even though you listed Clears and secondary scoring, I get what you meant.
