Kreider not getting any signing bonus this season and/or salary for playoffs but will get some Games Played bonuses for this playoff.

It’s only UFAs who sign so late who aren’t eligible.

I think because he’s a drafted player and they already own his rights that he could sign after the deadline, but I thought he had to sign by the end of the regular season in order to be eligible.

Not sure rushing a prospect and having his first game a playoff game is the right decision but hey it is sather.

I thought players who signed after the trade deadline (seeL Turco, Marty) weren’t eligible to play in the playoffs. Is this different because it’s his first pro contract?
