Another Two Points Out the Window

I am not going to lie - I did not watch the New York Rangers vs. Nashville Predators game last night. I was busy shoveling and getting my car out of the snow last night.

Judging by the outcome of the game though, it would appear that I might have worked as hard as the Rangers did. However, the difference is that I didn’t end up losing two crucial points in a playoff race.

Looking at the box score, it would appear that the Blueshirts peppered Nashville netminder Dan Ellis (38 shots), only to be stopped time and time again (37 saves). This happens often to the Rangers but at this point in the season, this is something that the team should avoid at all costs.

The Rangers have a tough tilt on tap tomorrow night when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in Piitsburgh before returning to Madison Square Garden on Sunday afternoon to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Two different opponents, four points on the line, last two games before the Olympic break, all significant for the Blueshirts at this point of the season.

How will the team respond?
