It’s more of a dull roar than an actual frenzy right now.
With the world in the midst of the Olympics and North America immersed with major league baseball, relevant hockey news has been few and far between for the past while. So just to assure my dozens and dozens of loyal readers that I’m still alive, I’ll provide an article that is perhaps a little late to the party considering the up-to-the-minute news and analysis that we’ve become accustomed to in the year 2012.
Tuesday is the next busy day on the NHL schedule, with ten games on tap. Since all teams have played at least three games, we can finally see the early blueprints of our season. There are some interesting names at the top of the NHL scoring race (David Legwand, anyone?), but players like the Sedins and Anze Kopitar are no strangers to the top ten in scoring. Since I am concentrating on players that are starting the season quickly, there will not be any sits for Tuesday’s Pick Six – only starts.
