Talking Caps with Mick Kern

Today I had the pleasure of joining Mick Kern on Sirius XM HomeIce’s The War Room to talk about the recent coaching change(s).  It was a great experience for my first radio interview.  Here is the audio.

Some other quick notes to get out:

Bruce Boudreau was named as then new head coach of the Anaheim Ducks early this morning.  He will be bringing Bob Woods (who was released Tuesday night) along with him as an assistant.

Per the Washington Post’s Capitals Insider, the Caps lines will be the same tonight as they were on Tuesday.  That means Perreault will be a healthy scratch again and Vokoun will start.  The Caps have not said yet which blueliner will sit.

Tonight will be the first time the Capitals have played Sidney Crosby since the Winter Classic.  Crosby has 2 goals and 9 assists since returning to action last Monday.  Remember that both goals and 2 of the assists came against a bad Islanders team playing a dreadful goaltender.
