The news in Canada is full of Royalty this week, as Prince William and his wife Kate visit the country. Admittedly, not exactly riveting news to post on a hockey site, but here’s a photo of William that adds a bit of relevance:
“Prince William takes a shot with a hockey stick as Kate Middleton watches during a visit to the Somba K’e Civic Plaza in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.”

I was gonna say “Nazzy’s wrist shot is BACK!” but I guess—minus the full head shave—it’s more like a Mats Sundin moment.

I’m with all the Frenchies in Quebec, F*&K the royals!
On a side note, I’d hit the either of the Middleton sisters so hard that whoever pulled me out would be crowned the next king of England.

Dave Tallon just signed the Prince to a six-year, $98 million contract. He’s expected to play in the 8th line.

I’ll reserve my opinion about this “shot” of Prince William (who’s showing some pretty damn good form) until I see Obama take a similar shot. Oh, wait, the Leader of the Free World thinks a slap shot is something a P.O.S. player does to another guy under the basket.
Hopefully the person in the White House in 2013 will know the difference.

Rest assured, an Alaskan woman who thinks that Paul Revere swam across the Puget Sound to alert the Russians that the British were coming will surely know what a slap shot is. Gotta love the two party system!

It’s funny that the only things Obama supporters can do when he gets criticized is to bash someone from the right. That tells you what he’s accomplished in 2.5 years. Nothing.
