Wings, Hawks, Gary’s 13 Game Regular Season: Perfect.

I'm not going to lie. I'd forgotten about this thing until about thirty minutes ago.  Thankfully for you, I usually only need about six minutes to type a standard fact-based, non-biased work of art to keep you happy for a pop or two.

The Hawks are undefeated, invincible, a wrecking ball of talent and starch.

The Wings are battered, Helm-less, down three defensemen and laden with rookies, castoffs and Swiss men.

Surely, all signs point to a Chicago walk in the park.

Right?

It's a Live Blog, bitches.

Not quite as threatening as CHI has been five-on-five, but we’re looking for any small glimmer of hope right?

We can do this. I think Brunner’s gonna bag another one in the 2nd.

I know I’m in the minority here, but aside from those giveaways to Hossa, I thought that was a half way decent period.  At least they weren’t chasing the Hawks around for the entire twenty minutes.

Simple, they have Hossa, we have Franzen. I trace the decline of the Wings to that development.

I’ve noticed a disturbing trend the past few games: the opposing team taps their sticks whenever Detroit is awarded a power-play.

Not sure what to think if that.

Herm told me you were talking about Murph’s glasses.  This is my first FSD game of the season.  I was at work when they made their debut so I missed them.  Holy hell.  Nobody warned me.
