Wings Can End Their Western Canada Swing In Style

Paul here for every other A2Y blogger.

Before we start the live blog, I suggest you rise and gentlemen please remove your hats.

Let's pay tribute the the Canadian National Anthem, sung at the last regular season game of the original Winnipeg Jets.

Now that I have your attention, we can now think about a western Canada road sweep, plus rejoice in not having to do it all over again this season.

Those much anticipated 7:00pm or 7:30pm starts are about to become the norm and since the Wings have six points on this swing, we now breathe a sigh of relief.

Turing our attention back to the Jets, who knows what Winnipeg team will show up.

The team is under pressure to start winning on a regular basis and let's hope it doesn't start until their next game.

It's a live blog b*@&##%!

Well, I have this 59 year old organ, but decided working on an 64 year old tractor might be more fulfilling, in the long run

Actually it’s one of those kind where you flip out some pedals and pump it.  While it’s playing all the keys are moving and everything.  It’s freakin awesome.

And it works.  smile

Now just got to get it tuned again.

I have roughly 50

Cool.  I have one of those too, with scrolls, nothing like that old timey sound. I also have another regular upright, only problem is those things weigh like what 800-1000 pounds.  Moved the later to my house from my parents and it took 5 grown men, growning…..and sweating, yeah not a pretty scene. HaHa

Wish I could play by ear like my Dad, he could play anything, it was awesome.  I had to take lessons with a concert pianist like forever…..but I learned a few tricks along the way.

I quit drinking beer, Paul. That first period is pushing me over to crystal meth. At least it’s blue. So you know it’s good.

It was me, my 16 yr old son, my brother and his two boys last summer trying to get into my house.  Didn’t discover it wasn’t getting through the front door until we had the front door, storm door, all the trim and the closet doors off….then back in the uhaul and drove it around to the deck.  Sometime last summer my son got a hernia and I strongly suspect it was that night.

Speaking of old farm equipment, Dougie…  First day of cotton harvest this year (bout two weeks ago) we had a breakdown (inevitable).  Busted radiator in an old machine we converted into a giant vacuum to clean up spills… Local Deere dealer priced a new radiator at $1675.  I go online for a second opinion and the two websites that popped up were like… Antiquetractors.com and something with the word obsolete in the title.  Hurt my feelings a bit.

You married a woman with 3 kids?

Did you have to apply for sainthood, or did the priest that married you grant it automatically?
