Well At Least We Know The Wings Are Practicing Today

With the Detroit beat writers doing exactly what we are doing, sitting at home, it could be a slow news period when the Wings are on the road.

Basically we will depending on the team to keep us updated or perhaps a local beat writer may chime in now and then.

Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press is writing about next season…

Seider is almost certain to be in the Wings’ lineup next season, as is Berggren. Raymond (5-10, 183 pounds) may need some seasoning in the AHL first, and Veleno’s odds hinge on his defensive growth. Overall, it’s an encouraging sign for the rebuild that next season’s team projects to skew younger thanks to several promising prospects.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977.  No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y.  Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation.  There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature.  Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
