this is not the team we should see. A total embarrassing performance tonight. Outplayed, specially outworked it was sad to Watch. Don’t let you fool by the shots clock, when your goalie doesn’t stop anything you Don’t need a lot of shot to score !

We look totally disorganized, every aspect of the game we were outclassed. No intensity, no physicality in our zone led to 3 PP goals against us..easy goal.

There is no way to win games if we Don’t play as a unit. Again tonight its the same problem, it seems that we Don’t know each other, like we’ve played with one another..Sometimes the forward don’t support the D (AA) sometimes they support too much.

Green look pathetic..and from day one of this season. I think its time to split him from Nemeth…

The guys behind the Bench has to respond to this. We can say we Don’t have much talent (we do have some) but the preparation of this team is not there..so someone needs to respond…Blashill ?

Anyways this team wasnt ready to competer tonight and on every aspect of the game.

Oh and by the way Quinn Hughes…humm..who did we select before him ?...humm ?...man that Hughes is some defense !

Green had an absolute howler of a game. Lazy turnover on the first goal. No coverage on the Pettersson goal. A couple of penalties that lead to goals. Awful.

Green has looked awful every game this far. He does not even look like he wants to be out there. I have been trying to give him some benefit of the doubt since he did not play much last season but he might not get much better.
I was against him.being re-signed due to his injury history and age. Hopefully he can pull something into his tank so we can get at least a6th round pick out of him.

BTW the The HAD line look pretty bad too. Hopefully Blash will.give them a break from being the shutdown line of the opposition’s too line.

Frans Nielsen said. “Not good enough. They just wanted it a little more than us. Special teams, not good enough. Structure wise we’re fine, it just comes down to working harder and competing out there. If you don’t compete every shift in this league, you’re not winning. Hopefully we learn from it.”

It’s frustrating reading these comments from HansandFrans since he has not shown Anything in the past two seasons. I think it would be best for him to stay in the Booth upstairs and coach from there because he is a nothing on the ice. And I dislike seeing him wear 81 because I think of Hossa and then see the antithesis.

Coincidentally it was Erne who finished Green slightly late with a high hit to the back of his neck which aggregated his neck issue and prematurely ended his season a couple of years ago.

If I recall correctly, Green had been considered a serious trade candidate and this was not long before the deadline. Maybe Green has helped mentor younger players since then. I don’t know. But that may have been the last chance to trade him for more than a mid-round pick. Assuming he is even healthy this season when it counts.

Someone in Vancouver said before the start of the season that Hughes might
have the best feet he’s *ever seen* in a defenseman. When you add great vision, creativity and skill….

It’s interesting Quinn Hughes whom some had reservationists about due to to his size as a defenseman (come on, it’s not 2003) has seemingly had a pretty seamless transition to the NHL while his brother was picked first and has struggled some so far. Doesn’t mean Jack won’t be a very good to great center for many years of course. I’m just baffled at how people can talk endlessly about how it’s so hard to acquire a really skilled, impactful (not just top-four) D, that you use to get lucky and draft them. And that the game is all about skill and speed and sense and vision now.
And then Hughes drops to Vancouver. I was utterly baffled. Like, are you guys sure?
But then you think: I’m just a fan; I’ve never scouted a player in my life. They must know better.

I somewhat watched that game last night, while doing some stuff and didn’t even realize DDK was not playing, I guess that speaks to how unnoticeable he is when he is playing, he doesn’t play PP, so not noticing a Dman in
the other aspects is probably a good thing.

Could not agree with several others on #25.  This was a premium Mike “I could giva-1/2-a-rip” Green effort all day long, his sloppiness contributed to 2 goals himself and was in the box for another though that call was cheap.  If its veteran leadership he’s providing,YIKES, get him a stall outside the dressing room, we don’t need Cholo or Hronek following that lead.

Hopefully AA gets it going soon, might have to move Flip or Frans if healthy to 2C let them play defensive center while AA roams free, need him to produce something.  Unsure why they don’t anyway, he’s an RFA looking for his long term deal, seems like a move to center might increase that value, or maybe they want to know if he can handle it before they pay the kid? Unsure.
