Galli interview with Yzerman had me noticing that Yzerman says only the things that need to be heard…even if it sounds like he’s being loquacious.
Just like when he was playing and giving dressing room interviews, he is extremely careful in what he is saying

@SYF yes, he’s not unfriendly but he’ll expand
about the the stuff that is not business.
I’ve not seen a reporter cajole him or get him going so that
he says more than necessary about an active, inside topic.
Has to take very good self-awareness and self-discipline.
And a great confidence in who he is: he doesn’t need to trade info
for attention or to try to ingratiate himself.
I like the rapport Trevor Thompson creates.
He asks some good open-ended questions and let’s
the interviewee respond his own way.
