Transition

11/03/2015 at 7:00pm EST

It is obvious the Wings are in transition. They are in the process of changing from one way of doing things to another. It has not been the smoothest. Many fans thought it was going to be easy for the Team to adapt to Blash, but, while the basics of winning remain the same, how you achieve that is largely dependent on the ability to adapt to a new system. Blashill has his own way of doing things, and, the Wings are finding out how that works.

There are growing pains which have been extremely hard to watch as a Fan. That being said, there are the 19 that refuse to give up on this Team. Missing key players is a rough way to start out, but, it also gives opportunity to the guys that are playing. We have talented young players, and, a rookie Coach.

Thank goodness Zetterberg has been amazing during this rough patch, and, has provided the leadership needed to help turn this thing around. The win the other night was a good place to begin.

It's time for the Wings to transition to the Blashill way of doing things, and, get back to the business of winning.

About Abel to Yzerman

Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
