Yzerman traded for Perlini because he wasn’t getting much of a chance in Chicago and it only took Blashill three months to actually give him any kind of opportunity to succeed.

Maybe Erne will get his opportunity some time in early April.

Come on, Perlini hasn’t shown D$#%, it was a waste of a prospect by Yzerman to bring him here, it was a bust.  Perlini got opportunities when he showed, he did nothing, and was recently the odd man out of the worst NHL teams lineup, that says something.

To suggest he hasn’t gotten his “chance” is crap, he did, just like Zadina who worked his way up, and Fabri who had no issues,

Blaming Blashill for Perlini, who was automatically on the 2nd line IIRC, is hysterically bad.

it can’t possibly be that the player just doesn’t have it, ya know. It has to be the coach’s fault.

...but not Quennville or whoever the guy is now in Chicago,

It’s Blashill that has ruined Perlini’s career!
